ING Industrial Estates - Various sites in Australia

Environmental Partnership was engaged by ING Industrial Custodian to define a landscape refurbishment programme for its existing industrial and commercial portfolio.

The aim was to develop an identifiable landscape theme across existing and new properties that was recognisable and provided an improved level of aesthetic quality and visual amenity.

An appraisal was carried out of the general landscape characteristics across the portfolio from which a planting palette that reinforced native planting themes and a sustainable approach to establishment and maintenance was identified.

For each site a functional review was undertaken to identify landscape pressures and opportunities. General landscape plan material is developed from which the design team work collaboratively with a select group of landscape contractors in project management for each site, after which sites are handed back to maintenance contractors.

The ING Landscape identity is now being incorporated into all new developments as part of it’s ongoing implementation.
