Plans of Management
The preparation of open space Plans of Management for open space management authorities is one of the specialist areas of Environmental Partnership’s consultancy activities.
Recent projects have included both state and local government clients and a variety of open space settings from conservation bushland to urban parks.
Our approach integrates the development of a logical values based planning and management framework founded on comprehensive community and stakeholder consultation with a clear design and planning direction for open space enhancement.
The outcome is a planning tool that clearly and effectively guides decision making, and describes the application of objectives to the site in the form of a concept masterplan and a prioritised works action plan.
This strategy framework approach has been applied to the development of environmental planning and management strategies for creek and open space systems. This includes the recent preparation of integrated Estuary Management Plans, and Systems / Geographic Plans of Management.
