Gooree & Biraganbil Estates - Mudgee, NSW

Environmental Partnership was commissioned to prepare masterplanning proposals for the establishment of tourist and recreational facilities at the Gooree and Biraganbil estates, Mudgee NSW.

The Masterplan identifies both short term and long term development strategies incorporating a schedule of staged implementation works.

Environmental Partnership’s project team incorporated the inputs of Architectural and Tourism / Marketing specialists. The site planning strategies emphasise the existing physical character of the rural setting, and the relationship to agricultural and viticultural activities operational on the sites.

A central plaza gathering area and market centre were provided to actively promote estate and local produce including wine and agricultural products.

The scheme incorporates the siting of accomodation, equestrian facilities, and landscaped gardens to optimise the commercial and tourism market of the Mudgee region and it’s proximity to Sydney.
