Environmental Partnership NSW is the third generation of the pioneering landscape architectural practice Environmental Landscapes, established in the early 1980’s in Sydney.

The practice evolved in the late 1980’s diversifying from design into landscape planning and recreation and tourism planning.

Adam Hunter joined EP in 1991 after working in both Sydney and London and has been a Director at EP since 1999.

PROJECTS

The multi-disciplinary practice has completed more than 3000 projects throughout Australia and in the Asia region since 1980. The work of Environmental Partnership has been recognised by both our clients and peers, with multiple awards received for innovation in landscape architecture, urban design and environmental planning.

OUR PEOPLE

Adam Hunter Director
Adam Hunter RLA FAILA is the Director of Environmental Partnership with over 30 years experience in Landscape Architecture.
After starting his career in Sydney Adam worked in London UK for the multi disciplinary practice BDP before returning to Sydney and joining EP in 1991. Adam’s mission is for EP to play a key role in shaping the places and spaces that we live work and play in, to collaborate with leaders in the built environment professions on a diverse range of projects, and to provide a productive and happy workplace for fellow professionals to develop and prosper.
Adam is a Registered Landscape Architect, Fellow of the Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA), former AILA National Board member, and serves on a variety of technical panels for State and Local Government. He has directed multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of projects including urban and civic design, open space and recreational planning and design, and public domain policy development, and is a well known and respected collaborator.
Nicole Eva Associate
Nicole is a Landscape Architect with over 15 years experience in all stages of planning design and construction in both the public and private sector. Nicole joined Environmental Partnership in 2014 having previously worked in Perth WA, and London, UK and is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute, UK (CMLI).
Nicole’s breadth of experience in the delivery of parks, playgrounds, large scale residential schemes, public domain regeneration projects – streetscapes and public spaces, as well as master planning strategies and feasibility studies, has provided her with a signficant and diverse skill set. She has been responsible for managing major landscape led planning and design projects such as the Hyde Park refurbishment programme.
As an Associate Landscape Architect she oversees client liaison and the coordination of our multi-disciplinary project teams.
Nicole is passionate about delivering meaningful and sustainable projects that contribute to the quality of life of the wider community and to the natural environment.
Emily So Junior Associate
Emily (Yingya) Su AILA RLA joined EP in 2010, having a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture (China) and Masters degree qualifications from the University of Adelaide. Emily is a Registered Landscape Architect and member of Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
Emily is a Junior Associate Landscape Architect involved in day to day management of a diverse range of projects including masterplanning, public domain redevelopment, parks and recreation and residential development.
She is dedicated to playing a key role in the creation of healthy communities which support sustainable transport, inspiring places spaces and outdoor experiences, environmental sustainability, and economic efficiency.
Tanya Towell Senior Landscape Architect
Tanya joined Environmental Partnership in 2019 after completing a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture at UNSW, for which she was awarded Class 1 Honours and the University Medal.

As a senior landscape architect, Tanya is a key member of the EP team with a current focus on design and planning projects including complex graphic presentations and visualisations.  Tanya also brings an invaluable background in television and graphic production in addition to a significant horticultural knowledge supplemented by many years of propagating plants and trees.

Tanya is passionate about heat mitigation and preparing our cities for climate change.  This includes creating green places, spaces and experiences which can help people to connect with nature, promote healthy active communities and improve mental health and wellbeing
Evan Black Consultant
Evan Black joined Environmental Partnership in 2009, and has a diverse background of experience across public realm, open space and residential landscape design.

Evan specialises in design and design management of major projects and brings a sensibility focused on richness and individuality complemented by a core horticultural knowledge and understanding of how to realise successful built outcomes in challenging conditions.  Evan was an Associate Landscape Architect with EP for 8 years.

Evan now provides specialist consultancy services to EP to meet the challenges of specific project needs.
