Jordan Springs Residential Development

Environmental Partnership was appointed to assist Lend Lease Communities with Open space planning, landscape design and documentation of Jordan Springs residential development. The 2500 dwelling site comprises the western precinct of the former ADI site at St Marys in Western Sydney.

The landscape vision for 17 hectares of parks and open space throughout the community emphasises a strong relationship to the future Regional Parklands with a transition of landscape character from the park boundaries to the Village Centre.

Planning has sought to maximise tree retention through open space and corridors and has included relocation of a number of cultural plantings (including Canary Island Date Palms). The town centre public domain aims to shape an identity for the new community and to provide welcoming public spaces that mitigate the harshness of the local environment.
