Environmental Partnership is proud to have collaborated with the Open Space Team on the development of the technical foundation for the guidelines and look forward to many more inland swimming places becoming available for our communities.

We are really excited that McIlwaine Park has been included in the final list of nominees for PLA’s NSW/ACT Park of the Year!

This important foreshore park provides an inclusive destination for the growing population of Rhodes, engaging the community with the river and its changing characters, while actively contributing the health of the river’s marine environment.

The activated water’s edge provides new connections to the river with the flexibility to adapt to a future swim site as water quality improves.

The Coronation StrEAT event space was officially opened by the Mayor of Hornsby on Friday night.

It was great to see this exciting space up and running for the public and what a way to launch it.

Congratulations to Hornsby Council for a great event and to Council and the State Government for having the vision to fund and realise the project, in particular Council’s awesome Place Management team.
