Vale Michael Ewings FAILA

The founding director of Environmental Partnership and a key member of the pioneering first wave of Australian Landscape Architects, Michael Robert Ewings passed away at his home on the north coast of NSW on the 4th March 2026.

Michael had a rich and productive career notably as a Director of firstly Environmental Landscapes and subsequently Environmental Partnership.

Not only is Michael's legacy continued through the significant projects he stewarded across Australian parks and public spaces over 40 plus years, but also through his contribution of the Landscape Foundation of Australia Ewings scholarship for students and early career graduates.
